Entrepalooza week is going on in Sioux City, IA – and Gnarly Pepper is in on the action.  Gnarly Pepper has submitted its business idea in two local competitions: Swimming with the Sharks at Briar Cliff University and Innovation Market hosted by Sioux City Growth Organization.  Gnarly Pepper is ranked top 5 in both, completing for the top prizes.  More Gnarly Pepper action included: First Friday Coffee at Springboard downtown Feb. 3rd, a consulting event Feb 15th at WITCC, an Open House / Ribbon Cutting with the Siouxland Chamber Friday Feb. 17, and the Steins and Vines event Saturday Feb 18th.
Gnarly Pepper has been extremely happy with the amount of community support.  Some of the best advertising for any small start-up is word-of-mouth and TV exposure.  Katie Copple and Tyler Mcghee of KMEG14/FOX44 reached out to Sara (founder) Friday Evening (Feb 17th) and set up a time Sunday to shoot in Sara’s home Sunday Feb 19th.  With the speed and excitement that is surrounding Gnarly Pepper, Sara is very humbled by the exposure, but also very excited to see where Gnarly Pepper will go. Sara has big goals for the company, and every bit helps.
